SESTINE is a digital knowledge and innovation hub designed to empower small and medium tourism enterprises (SMTEs) across Europe. Built to share expertise, foster collaboration, and accelerate sustainable transformation, SESTINE connects tourism businesses, industry professionals, and academic partners during and long after the project’s lifetime.
More than just a platform, SESTINE is a growing community of organisations committed to advancing sustainability in tourism. Through the digital network, SMTEs gain access to practical tools, benchmark values for self-assessment, and insights into best practices and innovative approaches to sustainability monitoring.
Developend during the ETSM2030 project implementation period, SESTINE remains permanently accessible, ensuring the continuity of its network and the long-term impact of the project. The platform is open to all qualified SMTEs across Europe, including those outside the original project consortium. In exchange for sharing their sustainability performance data, participants gain access to comparative benchmark information and shared knowledge generated within the network.
By opening the doors to wider participation, SESTINE strengthens collaboration, accelerates learning, and supports a more resilient and sustainable tourism ecosystem throughout Europe.
